 Vincent Reurslag

Take a look at Vincent's journey which made him a successful Chemical Engineer!

Vincent is a full time process technologist for an industrial salt plant- but how did he make it here? Our one hour conversation with him taught us that Vincent started off with a general bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering, after which he pursued a masters in the same, by specializing in Process technology.
Vincent's innovative personality also urged himself to involve in a couple of fruitful projects, as well as  research work. To state a few, his research in catalyst attrition in cyclones to reduce emissions of fine particles, and his work on investigating washing possibilities for grass-like biomass to remove alkaline metals for efficiency- were all rendered successful.

Vincent's positive outlook on a step-by-step basis of living life shone through, when he was asked to give his best advice to aspiring engineers, he replied with "I think it's most important to have fun while you're at it"- and this is definitely a phrase to live life by. Reurslag emphasizes that it can be easy to lose track of our sight amidst the education system so it's important to relate  practicalities into anything you learn.
